There are many forums where you can discuss ferrets. Here are some of the busier and more interesting ones. If you know of another ferret message board or forum that you think should be included here, then please email us with the details.
Please do not rely exclusively on any veterinary advice given on any of these forums. If you’re at all concerned about your ferret’s health, then take it to see a vet immediately.

Ferret Mailing List (FML)
A forum for the discussion of  ferrets primarily as companion animals. To subscribe, send an email to ferret-request@cunyvm.cuny.edu with the subject of SUBSCRIBE and your name in the body of the email. FML is a moderated list, which helps to avoid the nonsense seen on some of the other, unmoderated, ferret forums.

Deaf Ferrets
A group for hearing impaired ferrets and their owners. Share experiences, training tips and other helpful information.

Ferret Genetics
If you’re confused about ferret genetics then this is the site for you. And if you have a question, you’ll get a very rapid and informed response. Topics under discussion include, but are not limited to, colour, temperament, diseases, health and longevity.

A UK based site designed for ferret fans and their owners from all around the world.

Flaming Ferret
A forum for robust discussion of ferrets and ferret welfare topics. And it can be great fun as well.

Frolicking Ferrets
A nice message board with pleasant participants. Has a good health section and some good recipes for feeding ferrets.

Mercia Ferret Welfare Forum
A discussion group maintained by Mercia Ferret Welfare & Rescue. Lots of fun compared with some of the other forums. If you only intend to join one ferret forum, then this should be it.
